Our newest team members are Laura and James. They’re dedicated to helping you build your rental business. Get to know them in their featured interviews. First up, is Laura.
I started in sales as an Avon representative at the age of 17. I started selling to my friends and family so I could get my products for free. It was a training-ground in sales, teamwork, and communication.
With the support of a great leader, I developed a team of 250 representatives. I could see first-hand how my work, support, and nurturing helped my team be more successful, confident, and independent.
After 5 years with Avon, I went on to sales positions in construction machinery advertising, commercial real estate advertising, and travel tech.
I was browsing through angel.co and the position popped up. I read about the company and was very impressed, so I applied.
For me, it’s important to have a great team to work with and leaders who guide me through the day-to-day. Working within Futurestay has been fun, collaborative, and challenging. I knew this was a company I could grow alongside.
I am excited to contribute to the development of the company by increasing our user-base globally. Seeing rental owners succeed while establishing long-term partnerships is important to me because I love helping people.
What I love most about startups, is that I can more easily see the impact I make. I want to make a difference in the lives of those around me in any way I can and support them in their personal and professional development.

I love traveling. I traveled a lot in my native country, Romania. Some locations I have visited are:
The next destinations I want to explore are throughout the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Next year, I plan to visit Arizona, Hawaii, and Cuba.
A hobby of mine is to learn languages. I speak Italian, Spanish, French, English, and Romanian. When I travel, I make it a point to learn a few basic words and sentences. This is how I understand a little Portuguese and Greek.
A beach location. I traveled to Sicily this year. I was fascinated by the beauty of the island, its history, mix of architecture, and the delicious food.
I want to make a difference in the lives of those around me in any way I can. I want to support them in their personal and professional development.
